A new commandment I give unto you,

That ye love one another; as I have loved

you, that ye also love one another.  By

this shall all people know that ye are my

disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Our Daily Work

O Lord our heavenly Father, by whose providence the duties of mankind are variously ordered: Grant us all the spirit to labour heartily to do our work in our several stations, in serving one Master and looking for one reward.  Teach us to put to good account whatever talents thou hast lent to us, and enable us to redeem our time by patience and zeal; through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.

A Sabbath Day of Rest

(one of God's ministries to our souls and bodies)

Remember that you keep holy the Sabbath-day. Six days shall you labour, and do all that you have to do; but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God.  In it you shalt do no manner of work, you, and your son, and your daughter, your man-servant, and your maid-servant, your cattle, and the stranger that is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it.
